King came through Naas RFC and the Leinster pathway and plays for Old Belvedere. She made her Ireland fifteens debut against Australia in September 2024 and was named World Rugby Women's 15s Breakthrough Player of the Year for 2024. She played Sevens for Ireland at the 2024 Paris Olympics and was appointed Ireland captain in January 2026.
